Soundtrack research

After struggling to put anything together in terms of music for the drama project, I decided to do some research. Since the film is a romantic comedy, I tried to take influence from Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. However, as much as I like the soundtrack to that film, it's hard to take influence from such sad-sounding music when our own film is much more upbeat.

I've also listened to a lot of lighter rock recently, mainly Colin Hay, which could be used in this sort of film, only without vocals. But Colin Hay-style music would fit the film much more thanks to the more uplifting mood to a lot of his music, and his music has been used a lot by Zach Braff in Scrubs and his film work:
